Welcome to Otago Polytechnic Students' Associations Web page. The up coming year is a busy time for OPSA and you will be able to keep up with all the events on this site OPSA Co-Presidents, student executive and staff are here to make sure that when our students look back on this time, they’ll have good things to remember.
As OPSA Co Presidents we are elected to represent students and represent them on the Otago Polytechnic Council and various other boards and PEACs (Permanent External Advisory Committees) and are also the spokes-people for our association.
There is no catch with OPSA, upon enrolling at OP students instantly become a members, which entitles them to a huge range of services and facilities that OPSA provides as part of their membership
- OPSA is run by students, for students.
Our office is located upstairs in the Student Centre and has a great team of staff, who are here to make students experience at OP a good one.
In the office there are several individuals that can assist in many ways. Lesley Scoullar (Association Manager), Mark Baxter (Association Services Officer) and Vice President John Cannan.
If you are interested in getting involved with the Association – either by being elected onto the student executive, nominated as a class representative, offering to help organise social events or writing for our student magazine, please come up to the OPSA office for more information – all students are most welcome to call in during office hours or by arrangement if necessary.
